You should go to Walmart – they have better prices, and no hassles with the coupons. Redeemed some for Poise pads ( $4 coupon I printed from their site) , 2 Windex $2 off coupon ( windex is 2 for $6 at Walmart- so I got 2 windex, for $1 each) , the I turned in a free haircolor and mini pad coupon, & 2 Scrubbing Bubbles toilet cleaner coupons @ $2 each, brining the $2.44 price down to 0.44 each- so for $15.87 I got:

Poise pads- 48 ct ( on sale for 12.99, using price matching, less $4 for the home printed coupon) 8.99
Stayfree pads 0.00
Revlon Hair Color 0.00
2 – Windex @ 2 for $6.00; less 2 x $2 coupons 2.00
2 – Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaner @ 2.44 each, less 2 X $2 off coupons 0.88
2 boxes of All bran – $8.00 less BOGO coupon for one 4.00

As a bonus, I got $3 back on the Scrubbing Bubbles from Snap saves, 1.50 from checkout 51 on my all bran, plus two coupons ( from All Bran) for up to $3 each towards the purchase of berries from the Kelloggs Breakfast giveawy promotion.

And sending out flyers, in newpapers- coupons are often thrown out.
With self-printed coupons, hopefully this too will be eliminated.

Instead of shooting for “whatever they can hit” with these mailouts, people who are actually going to buy the products, can find the coupons with the products at the retail level, or be encouraged to visit their webpage to print their own coupons.

Hopefully the savings on ink, paper, envelopes, postage and any other costs associated with mail outs, will be passed along to subscribers..
Hopefully, no viruses will be passed along in the Java or other programs needed to print the coupons.

And maybe they will make them large enough that you don’t need a magnifying glass to read them.
I feel bad for the people at the checkouts, when they get these itty-bitty coupons, that as employees, they have to verify the product size, quantity, expiry date and place they are to be sent for redemption…
But let’s also hope that they won’t be like the Poise printable coupons – with a whack of full color ads below the coupon- that waste a lot of ink and paper. I like to get 3 -4 coupons per sheet of paper, and have figured out that if I put my paper in printer a certain way, or cut the coupon out, and use the rest of the page in printer- I can get more than 1 coupon per sheet of paper.

Now if someone could come up with way that all coupons could be printed at home using some sort of universally recognizable security features, so that store clerks wouldn’t refuse them- or be reprimanded for taking bad ones, and we wouldn’t feel like criminals when a coupon that is to be sent to QUebec is refused- might make things better for anyone who uses coupons, and the retailers . . . .
