It’s the news you’ve been waiting for! After announcing the closure of Target Canada in January, the date for the beginning of liquidation has been set!
According to CBC News, Target is officially saying that they aim to have court approval for liquidation on Wednesday February 4th. However, apparently an internal email sent January 30th, shows that Target is gearing up to start clearing out stock as early as Thursday February 5th!
After everything is finalized, “Liquidator Consultants” will be assigned to stores & be responsible for decisions on merchandise pricing.
This will be an “Everything Must Go” sale beginning with merchandise and eventually moving to store furnishing and equipment.
