The Jr. NBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA. The Jr. NBA includes a free, membership-based program for existing youth basketball leagues/organizations and kids who just love to play! The membership is to help encourage and support youth basketball participation at the beginner level and improve the overall youth basketball experience for all participants.

If you have a child between the ages of 6 and 14 that loves the game of basketball, you can sign them up for a Family Jr. NBA Membership as a Parent. When you register, you will receive a FREE Welcome Kit include a Jr. NBA Drawstring Bag and wristband(s).
If you are part of any organization that has a youth basketball program/league/event that serves kids ages 6-14, you can sign up as an organization. This includes community-based youth organizations (e.g. Boys & Girls Club, Police Athletic League, Jewish Community Center, YMCA/YWCA, Parks & Rec organization, etc.), schools, and youth basketball programs on military installations. The Jr. NBA Organization Welcome Kit includes: a Jr. NBA folder; promotional posters; whistles with lanyards; clipboards; cones; basketball nets; stickers for your backboards; and a Jr. NBA banner.
