Non-perishables are OK to stock up on, but I don’t know how many bottles of salad dressing I have thrown out because I bought them on sale and they went bad. There are just some items that don’t store well. Canned items, too…not really safe to stock up on those for an extended period of time. Think of it this way…if the Food Bank won’t take expired canned goods, why are you feeding them to your family?
