Hey everyone! This tip will not only help save you money but time and frustration as well.

Anytime you go shopping and plan to use coupons, bring a copy of the stores coupon policy with you. Many cashiers are still inexperienced with coupons and are quick to question their use.  If you have a copy of the policy that you can show them, it may speed the process along.

If the cashier is still refusing a coupon that you believe to be valid, don’t let yourself get bullied. Don’t just accept the cashiers word and lose out on your savings. It is your right to ask for a manager and you shouldn’t feel bad doing so. And don’t worry about the people behind you, this is your hard earned money after all! If you genuinely believe that your coupon should be accepted then it probably should be. Managers are generally much more familiar with the policies and will quickly allow the coupon to be processed.

Not to mention, now the cashier has learned and will be more inclined to accept coupons in the future!
