We’ve got a new recall to tell you about this morning!

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling Compliments brand Broccoli Slaw from the market due to possible Listeria contamination.

Food contaminated with Listeria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you very sick! Pregnant women, the elderly & people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk.

These products were distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan at retail stores.

Consumers should not consume the recalled products. Instead, it should be thrown out or returned to the store where it was purchased.

This recall was triggered CFIA test results. The CFIA is conducting an inspection which may lead to the recall of other products.

At this time, there are no reported illnesses associated with this recall.
