Your estimated prices for the laser printer are ridiculously high. I paid my printer (a basic samsung) $50 at futureshop a couple of years back. It came with a toner good for about a 1,000 pages. When my toner died, I bought a new, refurbished one off Amazon.ca for $25 (good for 2,500 pages). And the 2,5000 sheets case sells for $18 at Walmart.

OTOH, I agree with everyone here who commented before me. Printed coupons are scrutinized and every excuse is good to refuse them at the store. Since a lot of people scam the stores with false internet coupons. For me, it's not worth it, *despite* already having the printer at home (that and Smartsource doesn't like my computer and my printer since it's on a remote, wireless network).

In reply to <a href="https://www.savealoonie.com/articles/pays-print/#comment-14492">Laura</a>.

Agreed, I personally hate printable coupons because I must go all the way to Owen Sound (half an hour away) to use them at a Loblaw's owned store (ie. Zehrs, No-Frills etc.). In my small town, the small independent store does not except them and neither does my local Foodland even though in the flyer it says "WE NOW ACCEPT ONLINE COUPONS". I have argued and argued with them about this but the manager says it is up to the individual store managers to decide whether or not to accept them. :(

I love being able to print out the coupons because I have them right aways, however I haven't been able to print off of Websaver yet, we only have a black cartridge in our printer as the colour ones tend to dry out before we use all of it. The problem is that I can't print Websaver coupon in just black and white they don't turn out and I haven't tried save.ca.
