It’s been 3 dreadfully loooong days with no mail – well except for a single $1 off coupon from Save.ca and some bills. But what fun is that?
Then today – a shining beacon on this cold, gray, snowy Friday – the Purolator man!
Ryan has been checking the door almost hourly for over a week now LOL Not that I blame him or anything..
Last week, we found out that we had WON an XBOX ONE & Forza 5 Game from the Pepsico & Doritos Win Every Hour Contest (now over) and he has been dreaming about this day since we got the news!
We had been entering the contest on & off throughout the whole promotion but we decided to hold onto our remaining PIN codes until the last hour of the last day of the contest, which happened to be 11pm on New Year’s Eve. We figured that was our best chance – and it was!
So today, we heard the familiar rap, rap, rap and we both took off running, Jack & Ella on our heels, for the door. Sure enough, without even looking, as soon as Purolator man handed me the box, I knew what it was. Ryan grabbed it and headed into the living room before I had even finished signing for it LOL
All I can say is, WOW! This is by far, one of the best – if not THE BEST – mail day EVER!! It is also the first big contest win we’ve ever had so we are super duper excited.
Mind you, I don’t think I will see much of Ryan or the TV for the next little while LOL
