OhMyGosh! What a day! This was the BIGGEST coupon haul we have ever done and boy am I glad its over! But I must admit, I couldn’t have done it without my boys <3 Ryan is the best cart pusher I could ask for and Jack, well, he likes to inspect all the bags to make sure I got everything on my list.
Our shopping list started at 186 but as per usual our Walmart was missing many of the items we were after including several free products. But I am still more than thrilled with what we got – all 157 items. Some of it has already been donated. From start to finish the whole trip lasted about 2 1/2 hours!
Every single item on our list was either price matched, had a coupon or both. It was highly detailed and a little confusing even for me but our cashier was absolutely wonderful! She rang everything in like a champ, and even wanted to take all the coupons at the end. This makes life so much easier, not having to put each coupon with the product. We got some of everything and our stock pile has been fully replenished, with a lot to be donated.
Our Walmart is in the process of converting to a fully functioning Super Centre, with stock all out of order and part of the store not open yet it made finding things a little more difficult. Although we did get lots of goodies, these are some of the things we were after but failed to get.
