Just ahead of the busy holiday shopping season, big news about Sears Canada has just broke.
After struggling to find a buyer since June, Sears Canada has announced they will be shutting down.
The Toronto Star reports that Sears has failed to find a buyer for the chain and is seeking a court order to start liquidating all remaining inventory and shutting down all remaining stores, beginning October 19th.
This move will see ALL remaining locations close their door over approximately 10-14 weeks.
