Canadian Coupons

You may think that when a larged sized product comes on sale that it is the best opportunity to use your coupons. This isn’t always the case. In my books, getting a smaller size for FREE is better than paying for a large size.

Take for example a past sale on Purex. At Canadian Tire, they had the 4.43L jug on for $9.97- $3 mail out coupon = $6.97. In comparison, Price Chopper had the 1.89L jug on for $3.99 – $3 mail out coupon = $0.99. By purchasing 4 jugs from Price Chopper at $0.99 a piece you will actually get 7.56L of detergent and pay $3.96.

So by doing this you will wind up with almost double the amount of detergent and pay about half the price! You will find this is the case with a lot of the everyday items we use. The goal is to save the most money possible and get the most product!
