Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles – anyone who has a little one around – pay attention to this recall!

Health Canada in conjunction with United States Consumer Product Safety Commission & Mayborn USA Inc have teamed up to recall 5 types of Tommee Tippee Sippee cups. All of them with a removeable, one-piece white valve.

The reason for this recall is that mould can develop on the removable, one-piece, white valve inside the cup when it remains wet/moist and uncleaned.

There have been OVER 3000 reports of mould growth with 68 reports of associated illness in the United States and 484 reports of mould with 4 reports of possible associated illness in Canada.

There were 3.2 million of these cups sold in the US and Canada from December 2014 to May 2016.

If you have one of the recalled cups, you are to stop using it immediately and contact Mayborn USA by telephone toll-free at 1-866-214-1537, starting at 8:00 a.m. ET on Mondays, 24 hours a day, until 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturdays, to receive your free replacement cup.
