I love summer. I especially love long weekends.
The family gets together, everyone eats, drinks, laughs and has a good time! That’s what we did yesterday 🙂 We spent the day with family but the whole time, that little voice in the back of my head was saying “You’ve got coupons that are about to expire”.
Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t letting the fear of expired coupons ruin my day! But I was super excited to do a bit of shopping because it feels like forever since I’ve done a decent couponing trip! So sure enough, we got home after dinner and I basically headed right back out the door to Walmart!
I wasn’t optimistic. I had left many FPCs and good coupons to the last minute to use and wasn’t sure I would find the products I was after. Not to mention that over the last few months, it seems our local Walmarts have gone downhill. However, I was pleasantly surprised an got almost everything on my list!

YIPPEE!! I’d say that shopping trip was a success! It was also a lot of fun cashing out because my cashier was as excited about my savings as I was! She was a young girl and was asking lots of questions about couponing. I love it when that happens 🙂 Makes checkout so much less stressful!
