What a busy afternoon! We had a whole bunch of errands to do plus we had to pick up prizes for the 20,000 Fan Celebration. Can you tell Jack is exhausted from all the car rides. While we were out and about today we managed to snag a bunch of Listerine Total Care Zero!
With the new printable LivingWell.ca coupon combined with the BOGO sale at Shopper’s Drug Mart, this was a great find. Shopper’s has the 250ml size of Listerine Total Care Zero on for 2/$3.99, regular price $4.99 each. We visited 4 Shopper’s Drug Mart locations and Walmart to snag this many as the coupon is one per person. The best part was, we weren’t even going out of our way to visit a single location, it just was an extra stop along the way.
Ryan and I had a good laugh about this as it reminded us of back when we started couponing. Last spring Mac’s had a coupon offer for a $0.05 Coke and we traveled all over town for no other reason then to score as many as we could. Looking back, it wasn’t the best idea but hey, that’s how we learn. And we had a lot of fun doing it
But back to the here and now… This is how today’s totals worked out:
20 x Listerine Total Care Zero $1.99 ea – 10x $3.00 off = $0.49ea
Total Retail Cost: $99.80
OOP: $9.80 ~ Savings 91%
Tax: $5.20
This works out to be a super deal as the 1L bottle retails for around $9.00 each and we got 5L for that price! WOOO
