If you entered the Danone Unwrap to Play from Oikos contest this is an important message for you.

According to an email distributed by Danone this afternoon, there has been a confirmed database hacking. A third party hacked into the contest database hosted by an outsourced provider, and had access to the personal information you supplied when you registered for the contest including: name, address, birth date, profile information (gender, # of children), email address and password. Those last 2 are the biggies.

With this combination of information it is possible to for hackers to compromise your other personal accounts. We have always recommended that you use an email address & password different from any of your important accounts for contests, freebies etc for this exact reason. Stuff happens!

It is advised that you change your password in other accounts as a preventive measure, if you use the same one as you did for the Oikos Unwrap to Play contest.

Also, be on the look out for scams / phishing emails that may reference this contest in particular and suspicious emails in general.
