Canadian Coupons

The mail has been pretty slow lately but over the last few weeks we have managed to accumulate some good stuff. We’ve gotten samples, freebies and loads of coupons! We have gotten some from Save.ca, webSaver.ca & GoCoupons.ca.

We received our Philadelphia Cooking Creme FPCs already! Save.ca is really on the ball! This coupon is good until August 31st so we’ve got lots of time to find it in stores. (no longer available)

We received a set of the Activia coupons with $20.00 in savings (no longer available). With a recent re-discovery of the love of yogurt here, these coupons sure are going to come in handy! I think its interesting how they staggered the validity dates of of these coupons. I like it, do you or would you rather just get a whole bunch that are all valid at the same time?

We also got a coupon for $5.00 off dog food from Blue Buffalo. All we did was compare the food Jack is on now with Blue Buffalo and entered our information. They even included locations to find their product so we don’t have to go hunting for it! Compare your dog’s (or cat’s) food to get yours.

Our FPC from Cavendish also arrived this week. Now I’m sure many of you remember a few weeks back when this offer was floating around on many of the deals sites and your probably asking why we didn’t post it. This is why. Before I posted this offer I wanted to call in an confirm its validity. It took a day before I got a call back but when they did return my call the women explained that they only have a single operator call centre and would NEVER offer an FPC distribution offer like that. However, because they do occasionally distribute coupons to customers they were going to meet as many of the requests as they could. They women who returned my call actually thanked us for not posting it as it completely overwhelmed them for days.

We also received an FPC from Coca Cola, just today actually. There is a story behind this one too LOL Way back in the summer, August I believe, we bought a 12 pack of Fruitopia cans. Well we opened up the case and started to unload the cans into the fridge and we quite surprised to find that half of the cans in the case we either half empty, severely damaged or completely empty. So I called into Coke to explain the situation and for my trouble they offered to send me a coupon. So obviously I readily agreed and gave them our address. The operator told me to expect my coupon in 8-12 weeks. I thought that was a little long for a coupon but was grateful nonetheless. So we waited and waited and waited and it didn’t come. Then I eventually forgot about it and was totally surprised to have it arrive today. They were a little off on their time frame, the letter that accompanied the coupon was dated Jan 24th. However, yay! to a case of any non-carbonated Coca-Cola product for free!

Similar to the Blue Buffalo offer, we compared Jack’s current food with Nutrience and they sent us $15.00 in coupons and a Frequent Buyer Card where you buy 11 bags of food and get the 12 bag for free! Compare your dog’s (or cat’s) food with Nutrience to get your coupons.

We also finally got our Oreo Dessert coupons! These took forever to come! But I LOVE ice cream so this will definitely be good :) There are still TONS of these coupons still available.

The Peek Freans BOGO coupons were also a bit of a stunner. Had completely forgotten about these. They were order November 7th (best I can tell- no longer available). They took forever to come in but these are so tasty that I don’t even mind :)

We got another Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner from LivingWell.ca (offer over). I really like this lip balm, so I’m thrilled to get this one.

A week or so ago our Chapman’s Ice Cream 2012 Calendar arrived. This calendar is cute and actually fairly useful. Your can still request your calendar.

These Yves Saint Laurent fragrance samplers are a bit of a mystery to me. Over time there have been several posts for YSL fragrances but they seem to never come so we forget about them and then BANG 3 samples in one envelope arrive one day. So I’m not sure if they wait until you order multiple samples before they send them or if it was one sample in particular that resulted in the pack. Either way search “Yves Saint Laurent” on SaveaLoonie and see what you come up with!

We also got our samples from Kiehl’s this week. This offer was originally posted back in mid-January (now over). This Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution supposedly works miracles so we shall see.

Last week we got our Super Serums samples from Lancome. This offer was posted on January 15th and is now over. This sample includes Lancome Genefique and Lancome Visionnaire. These samples are actually not a bad size either.

And last but not least, in December (I think…) I was invited to try John Frieda’s new Foam Hair Dye. This offer came from being a part of their Elite Club. I was able to take an online assessment so they could recommend a shade for me and I was able to select the colour I wanted to try. Then a couple weeks ago this box of hair dye arrived. I haven’t tried it yet since I just had my hair done around Christmas, but I definitely will be trying it soon.
